But would gratefully welcome any experience in an interior design practice. I have an expansive knowledge of yachts and yachting, and their structure and how they are built; through my own research and learning. I also have experience with sailing and motoring yachts. I also have extensive experience speaking with clients, and gaining insights into their design visions and needs. My problem solving skills also aid me in achieving this on many levels; including design, materials, scaling and measurement, technology, IT and product sourcing. I have gained, over the course of my degree, the knowledge of the structure of the built environment and how I can design and change it. I am a very creative and artistic individual, creating my own artwork by hand, as well as studying design.
I have recently completed a client based Interior Design project outside of University (Pebblebank Project), and another within the University (Bastion 6 Project). My most recently completed project was the Pebblebank Project, and one of my favorite completed projects was my Final Major Project for my degree, based in Boathouse 4 in Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard, for a "Play Ship" for children aged 4-11.
I am currently looking for permanent employment in the Dorset, Hampshire & Wiltshire areas.

Junior Designer Temp. at WN Interiors
20 Feb. 2017 - 24 Feb. 2017

I temp'd with WN Interiors of Poole for a week, gaining invaluable skills in CAD; drawing up designs for light fittings to garage brickwork designs, Photoshop; creating concept images of light fittings, and designs for internal door, skirting and architrave options, editing and updating product schedules, and working on multiple projects at a number of different stages. I also gained experience of working in an Interior Design Studio with a close knit design team.

Graphic Designer at Crafty Arty World
17 Jul. 2017 - 21 Jul. 2017

I participated in a one week trial period at Crafty Arty World in Buckland Newton as a Graphic Designer. During the week I met the wonderful team, was in constant contact with the business director, as well as constant communication with the team I was working with. I was involved with a variety of different tasks; from creating wacky photographs, to designing concept cards and promotional material for print. Although I didn't get the job, I am now one of the company's freelancers.
